by t.a. faust
i laugh and i cry
i sing loud and i wallow
among friends, alone
i see the humor
yes it is hilarious
but laughable, no
i jump and i fall
i spring up and i stumble
solo company
what is this feeling?
this guilty paranoia
clinging to my back
i wonder 'what now?'
while staring back at the crowds
'who are they watching?'
eyes always prying
curious onlookers watch
an awkward silence
